The world sat there motionless,
The waters swayed back and forth,
The mountains blew their cold smoke,
As the green grass gave birth,
The darkness sat in,
The sun ran away desperately,
The birds hid in their perched branch,
And the whales dug far beneath the sea,
The snow covered the still silence,
I sat near as I heard a bird call my name,
A lion approached across the field,
But never once did I become lame,
The bird flew high above,
Calling out the lion's every move,
I followed closely as I became one,
The bird should've been stored away in the Louvre,
The elegance, the beauty,
I watched as I saw her spread her wings,
The sight of her kindly kindled heart,
Oh, and the way she sings?
The night was dark,
But hope always hid away,
Days can drag on,
But this heart was here to stay.
