Pacific Spill:

The world is crumbling,
Yet all I see is you,
Your wings flashed in the sky,
But I knew it wouldn't be the two,

Death and destruction called my name,
Yet I stole the lock upon the door,
I held onto my one slim hope,
But my chance hung on a raging wild boar,

The peace was present,
Yet hiding within a million drums,
The cymbals crashing louder each moment,
But I never once saw it's breadcrumb,

The toil held over my head,
Yet my eyes hung to the sky,
The oil spilt over the ground,
But never once did you ask me why.

Searching Wish:

A man standing wearing sun's light,
Perched up in his own dreams,
The reality hidden from his mind,
Yet everyone could hear his screams,

He laid there in wonder,
His mind gone from his head,
It flew up into the deep blue sky,
Yet it was never full of lead,

He mind flew like a flock searching for warmth,
Yet it was nowhere to be seen,
His soul yearned for it's grand escape,
Yet nowhere could he find it to be clean,

His mind found the arctic,
It turned around from it's misery,
Flew back towards his body,
And fell back into the hollow sea,

It sunk slowly into the swallow waters,
The cold surrounding him,
The wet skin of his fell deeply in,
Yet no one knew he couldn't swim,

He sunk deeper within,
His mind close to it's end,
His thoughts rang free,
Yet he found his one true friend,

The warmth finally surrounded him,
He finally laid to rest on the bottom,
The sand curled up between his toes,
And his heart became a time bomb,

He awoke from his slumber,
His mind was firmly intact,
His heart beating vibrantly,
Yet his freedom was all he had lacked,

The cold surrounded him still,
Yet he knew not to search for his warmth,
His desires hidden back behind his mind,
But his life was coming back from the pesky North.

Sunset's Last Goodbye:

The majestic waves flowing,
The beautiful sunset rang close,
The tides waged onward the horizon,
Yet the sun had left it's triumphant boast,

The Earth trembled close by,
The ground shaking in it's torment,
The orange glow painted deeply,
Set thoroughly like cement,

The sun dipped to it's frightful end,
The time came near for it's death,
The stars hung onto it's lasting hope,
Yet it feared for it's last known breath,

The sun hanged there patiently,
The stars glowed beautifully silent,
The moon crept closer and closer,
Yet the sun had no urge to be bent,

The moon called for it's demise,
Yet the sun held onto it's longing prize,
It laughed at the thought of dying,
It knew of the stars' lonely lies,

The end did come finally,
But the sun knew better than the rest,
It's end for them will come alas,
And it knew it'd be for the best.

Borrowed Time:

A precious dove in mid flight,
The sun shinning brightly,
The coast waving to it's borrowed friend,
The fish quietly swimming in the sea,

The patron being the Lone Ranger,
Keeping the seagulls at bay,
The crabs running free on the sand,
But their castle was to stay,

A well breathing family chattering preciously,
Their work shown in their love,
The words flew beautifully out of their mouths,
Yet they couldn't satisfy the fluttering dove,

The clouds rolled past the sun's flashlight,
The blue hinted away from it's tint,
Saddened to a deep grey,
But the confused family got no hint,

The sky red with anger,
The ground wet from the tear's collide,
The moon hiding in the shadows,
Even the sun has a dark side.

Overlooking The Bay:

My still bones hiding in the shadows,
Invisible as the Vashta Nerada,
My heart holding it's faint hope,
Yet my soul can't take anymore piƱa coladas,

The sunlight being folded over,
Trapped by the dark cloud of old,
The grey stepped in closer,
Crying when it didn't do as it was told,

The light was shattered all over,
The darkness crept onward to victory,
The trees clapped joyously loud,
Yet there was a still by the sea,

The sun's ray shown through small,
It held it's own in the center of the lake,
The darkness hurried yet fell,
The sun knew what was firmly at stake,

The shadows couldn't hold it's feet,
The rug threw them off their balance,
The light stood still overhead,
And never once changed it's stance.

Bogged Down:

The shadow covered my lowly lit room,
It walked up and down my steel cold wall,
It tumbled past my speeding mind,
And had quite a great fall,

My mind racing through a bog,
Slushing through the heavy water,
The shadow called for help,
But they wouldn't even bother,

My legs immovable in the weeds,
The mud covering my leathery feet,
I couldn't budge an inch to save my life,
So I took a lonely still seat,

The water rushed by my weathered face,
The shadow riding past me on the pad,
I caught it's tail saving a life,
And for that it was glad.

Rolla Costa:

I told myself it'd be a different day,
That today would bring me a new year,
But I can't see through it all,
See through all of the tears,

The sun may have been set away,
It was hiding from the demon moon,
But it'll come out of the shadows,
It'll come out real soon,

The stars were glimmering without a cause,
Happily beating to pass the time,
But I stared off into the distance,
Unable to breach my perfected mime,

Sometimes you just have to pause,
Be frozen to the explosions outside,
But it'll knock you down,
You have to hold pass the rocky ride.

Boomerang:

The sun sat neatly in the horizon,
The light shown through a filtered cloud,
The wind tore it away,
To be together wasn't allowed,

The birds flew by,
Gliding through the newborn sky,
The sun held back it's frightful tear,
And it's one fear was to cry,

I held my head down low,
I couldn't find the strength,
The grey came over me,
Happiness was far by lengths,

I held my anger inside,
Yet my body began to shake,
My fists hit the ground with a roar,
It was all I could take,

The tears came pouring down,
Drop by drop they covered the ground,
The Earth was drenched with disgust,
But I couldn't hear a sound,

My fit was silenced by my rage,
My fists pounded with pain,
My life flashed in front of my eyes,
Along way I had came,

The tears slowed to a stop,
I took a sorrowed deep breath,
I heard the silence of an entire world,
And I had nothing left.

Neon Heart:

The warm breezy night faded,
The sun hide behind the covers,
The light turned in for the night,
It gave the key to it's lonely brother,

The moon rose to the top,
Surrounded by a million stars,
Splattering it's blood across the sky,
Smearing with it's neon heart,

The stars sparkled in the night sky,
Aware of the thousand rushing cars,
It saw above the rest of endless wars,
But never once was it torn apart,

A robber snuck around the back,
Finding a way into the entrance,
He stole the glowing light,
Then made off with his chipper dance,

The warden was called,
But all had been lost,
The moon stood in fear,
But it was just a lowly cost,

The robber made for the trees,
Thinking it'd save his bewildered fate,
The trees were in no hurry to hush,
And the robber was found in checkmate,

The moon rose to the top,
Surrounded by a million stars,
Splattering it's blood across the sky,
Smearing with it's neon heart,

The stars sparkled in the night sky,
Aware of the thousand rushing cars,
It saw above the rest of endless wars,
But never once was it torn apart.
