I was hanging on by a thread,
My heart pounding all night,
I felt the thunder rage across the seas,
But you, you were my Kryptonite,
The storms swirled above us,
The rain pouring down on our heads,
I saw boats tumble in it's wake,
But you, you held me up instead,
Our boat rocked back and forth,
The waves crashing against the stern,
I heard the mast break in two,
But you, you kept the flickering flame burn,
The boat rolled against the coast,
There were bodies stretching for miles,
Up and down I saw the red run free,
But you, you put together the tiles,
My thoughts hopeless,
Life itself seemed bleak,
The blood ran through my fingers,
But you, you were all I seek,
The search party disbanded,
The lost hope was found once again,
A smile stole a part of my mouth away,
But you, you kept me sane.

Sunfire's Flame:
The clouds cover your well lit face,
I fell deeply with the rain without a trace,
My slide was quick and thorough,
And I fell three times in a row,
The darkness surrounded me,
And all I could see was the deep dark sea,
Screams covered my ears,
And all I could feel was my soft shelled tears,
I reached to the sides,
With no avail to collide,
My fingers scrape the hole,
And all I could do was twist and roll,
My pain struck every nerve,
My life swerved around a curve,
The tragic tale beyond compare,
And I was too damaged for your failed repair.
I fell deeply with the rain without a trace,
My slide was quick and thorough,

Life's Umbrella:
The still calm overflowed my mind,
The wind brushing my laid back hair,
My eyes glistening in the sunlight,
I was walking through the day without a care,
A rock ran acrossed the road,
My foot the angry victor,
I saw the day through and through,
And I was called The Great Predictor,
I waded through the sandy beach,
The sand taking homage between my toes,
I saw the tide rise up to it's peak,
But then everything goes,
I saw the sun set near the horizon,
The night nearing it's dawn,
I was a lowly messanger for the sun,
But only it thought that I was the pawn,
As the nigh came to,
I said my goodbyes to my friendly sun,
It may have left my days,
But for me it had just begun.
The wind brushing my laid back hair,
My eyes glistening in the sunlight,
I was walking through the day without a care,
A rock ran acrossed the road,
My foot the angry victor,
I saw the day through and through,
And I was called The Great Predictor,

Bright Sunshiny Day:
Your love is like the wind,
The leaves plastered onto your well rounded face,
Your entriguing presence made a fool fall,
But I never once lost my pace,
I saw the leaves run by me,
As I walked mercilessly through the forest,
You ran by waving your flabby arms,
Yet there was no avail to your torrid best,
As I saw the leaves falling one by one,
Your failing attempts were unseen by my eyes,
You yelled for me to see, to feel,
Yet I never once heard your screaming cries,
The wind knocked you down,
I walked on searching for lost hope,
Yet the leaves caught your fall,
And my life became an unsealed envelope.
The leaves plastered onto your well rounded face,
Your entriguing presence made a fool fall,
But I never once lost my pace,
I saw the leaves run by me,
As I walked mercilessly through the forest,
You ran by waving your flabby arms,
Yet there was no avail to your torrid best,
As I saw the leaves falling one by one,
Your failing attempts were unseen by my eyes,

Harriet's Death:
The world terries by,
Our bodies frozen in time,
No one stopped and asked why,
Because they don't understand this rhyme,
The cars zoom by,
The bikers roll past through,
There wasn't any time to be shy,
Because all I wanted was you,
The sun stood at his petistole,
The clouds hung back in hiding,
They came back to rule,
But their only hope they were riding,
Time hung at the doorknob,
Hanging for all the passerbys,
No one could see it,
Until they were ready to die.
Our bodies frozen in time,
No one stopped and asked why,
Because they don't understand this rhyme,
The cars zoom by,
The bikers roll past through,
There wasn't any time to be shy,
Because all I wanted was you,
The sun stood at his petistole,

But their only hope they were riding,

Lake Of Fire:
The summer's gaze slipped through the meadowy grass,
The sunlight spreading like a wildfire,
It etched across the green campus,
The darkness was hanging on by a wire,
The white haired minions surveyed the ground,
Camping alongside the paved road,
They sprouted for all to see,
But it was more than a garden node,
The path was clean,
It's direction unsure,
The road was smooth,
For it's intentions were pure,
The sand stuck between your toes,
The warmth smothering your ache,
So you kept your walk alive,
Hoping to arrive at the majestic lake.

FireBall:
The sun goes down,
Yet the night sky stays bright,
The moons burst with flames,
Yet the sky still is alight,
The fiery end draws near,
The flames scattered across the Universe,
The rhymes tell us a story,
Yet you never did rehearse,
The stars glowing in their sleepy wake,
The moon tore through the sky swiftly like a knife,
The sun gone from this timid sky,
Yet you never firmly held my life,
I stared across the sea in wonder,
The fish flopping noisily without a care,
Was I just a simple jest,
Or were you a nightmare?
Yet the night sky stays bright,
The moons burst with flames,
Yet the sky still is alight,
The fiery end draws near,
The flames scattered across the Universe,
The rhymes tell us a story,
Yet you never did rehearse,
The stars glowing in their sleepy wake,

The Perfect Echo:
My mind runs like fire across the stone dead meadow,
The breeze flies past my listening ears,
I fell to my knees and prayed,
But I'm just an ordinary fellow,
The wind picked me up,
As I knelt there whispering into the cold wind,
My hair waving it's final goodbyes,
But my heart wasn't going to erupt,
I held firmly onto the ground,
Barely softening the blow of it's course,
But I held on for dear life,
And so that I could again hear a sound,
The wind died down with a noble choice,
I sat there exasperated,
But my heart ran straight and true,
And again I could hear your sweet still voice.
The breeze flies past my listening ears,
I fell to my knees and prayed,
But I'm just an ordinary fellow,
The wind picked me up,
As I knelt there whispering into the cold wind,
My hair waving it's final goodbyes,

Rising Tide:
My heart caught aflame,
It burned down like a tree,
The fire spread across the sky,
But that's all you saw from me,
The Earth opened it's jaws up,
My life flowing through it's teeth,
I fell deep down inside,
But was in horror from what was underneath,
The black lava soaked into my skin,
It hardened making my pores dry,
I fought until my strength was denied,
All I could do was stare up at the sky,
The clouds rose with a purpose,
The stars danced throughout the sea,
The moon stood there watching over,
But never once held onto me.
It burned down like a tree,
The fire spread across the sky,
But that's all you saw from me,

Coming Of The Day:
My mind wondering the night sky,
Jumping from star to star,
I fell onto the glowing moon,
And sat there until my heart was too far,
The moon was quiet in it's time,
Her light soothing to the touch,
As my star got closer,
My pull was just too much,
She strayed from my walk,
Always watching over the many millions,
I held onto the light,
Guiding those lost civilians,
As the sun came roaring up,
I hid behind a burrowing cloud,
My time was finally up,
And I wasn't any longer aloud.
Jumping from star to star,

And sat there until my heart was too far,

The Nigh's Wager:
The cool moonlight brushed against the steady walls,
The night swayed back and forth,
The heart pounded past daylight's break,
But don't fret, our light will shine through yet,
The nigh will wage it's own war,
Our peace inside will carry us on,
My eyes longed onto that cold tapestry,
But don't worry, we'll soon won't have to scurry,
The hope stood on our heads,
The sweet warmth called you within,
My mind wondered through the seven seas,
But see me now, as I never again will bow,
The light will come make us new,
Our life may come with some strife,
We may never against think we'd see it,
But the light will come, more than your hefty sum.
The night swayed back and forth,
The heart pounded past daylight's break,
But don't fret, our light will shine through yet,

Free Skydiving:
As the ending drew near,
I took a final breath of relief,
It tore through my thin skin,
Because all I knew was grief,
The harsh waves that flew back and forth,
And pesky Raven who dug far into my veins,
I knew little by little my life would disappear,
But I never saw it until they broke my chains,
I plummeted to my death,
My face straight as an arrow,
My screams nonexistent to ears,
Not until they heard all of my marrow,
I laid there quietly,
I dared not speak,
For fear that I'd get no answer,
But more than once I heard a creak.
I took a final breath of relief,
It tore through my thin skin,
Because all I knew was grief,
The harsh waves that flew back and forth,
And pesky Raven who dug far into my veins,
I knew little by little my life would disappear,
