The past haunts well,
Breathes fire from it's nostrils,
Following us with every step,
Seeking desperately for a thrill,
We halt silently for remembrance,
Falling onto ways unsought,
Finding love in dark corners,
Bringing times that have fought,
Nights were cold,
Chillier than winter's breeze,
We walk hard fought,
But life puts us all on freeze,
Days have come and gone,
Yet life draws into the darkness once more,
Bringing in destruction to due cause,
But the end has much more in store.
