FireBall:

The sun goes down,
Yet the night sky stays bright,
The moons burst with flames,
Yet the sky still is alight,

The fiery end draws near,
The flames scattered across the Universe,
The rhymes tell us a story,
Yet you never did rehearse,

The stars glowing in their sleepy wake,
The moon tore through the sky swiftly like a knife,
The sun gone from this timid sky,
Yet you never firmly held my life,

I stared across the sea in wonder,
The fish flopping noisily without a care,
Was I just a simple jest,
Or were you a nightmare?

  1. Never a nightmare that I have seen
    Could polish this disappointment
and make the sun bounce off its sheen

Let the sun bake the fish
A treat for some other to scavenge
Let longing for your protection be its final wish.

  2. The fish be fried,
As the tides begin to die,
The sun flew gracefully into the land,
And the day began it's final goodbye,
I saw the stars pop up one by one,
And the moon fought along it's final breath,
But the night will drag on,
Much better than the story of MacBeth.
