It walked up and down my steel cold wall,
It tumbled past my speeding mind,
And had quite a great fall,
My mind racing through a bog,
Slushing through the heavy water,
The shadow called for help,
But they wouldn't even bother,
My legs immovable in the weeds,
The mud covering my leathery feet,
I couldn't budge an inch to save my life,
So I took a lonely still seat,
The water rushed by my weathered face,
The shadow riding past me on the pad,
I caught it's tail saving a life,
And for that it was glad.
