Taunting Rubble:

I'm on a quiet street,
A lonely road,
Everyone living in the sewers,
Down in their abode.

I walk the streets,
Not a whisper could be heard,
Even the raindrops hold their splatter,
If they made a peep it'd be absurd,

They crawled up and down,
That dirty pesky sewer,
Barely finding their food,
Scraping most that they could skewer,

No one to be seen by the naked eye,
Yet I knew I'm not alone,
I await the news of hope,
And wait for it to be shown.

  4. So you must rely on speaking soul to soul, The only true language your heart does know.

  5. Yet, isn't the soul oneself? How can you indulge in another, when they are hidden on a dusty shelf?

  6. Given it's due time, Indulgence is divine. Words throughout time have been used to fuel the fire, of many peoples desire.

  7. But is it the words that turn us, or is it our own willing minds? We can only bend our wills to do our bidding, and our words we have to stand behind.

  8. It is true our minds are captain, are words the symphony, No can see the outcome, either disaster or harmony.

  10. Would you so freely sail these tides with me? At times I brave the roughest of seas.

  11. These tides are fought off by all, some alone, some with the monstrous waves, but I would want to see your wings be fully grown.

  12. Why has none claimed this loyal heart opened up before me? What travesty is this, has no other angel been fortunate to see?

  13. The Angel of Death's teeth were forcibly turned away, no one has been into this glorious world. They've never been let in, my heart hasn't been unfurled.

  14. I want to bow to what you ask of me, But I want to be certain for your heart and mine, it should be.

  15. These words dare not speak of lies, for one would scare the truth away. I ask for you to be your own skin, and know that His truth is always the right way.

  16. I know he guides me and it is so obvious now, You are supposed to be in my life, I just wish he would define , How.

  17. He does what He does in mysterious ways not because it's impossible to be known, but because if we do it for His sake, then a geniune feeling isn't just to be told, but to be also shown.

  19. A package under the tree is always nicely wrapped, yet we can never see the inner content. He marvously taped you together for a reason, there's a reason why into my life you were sent.

    1. I never came here looking to be found, I needed sanctuary from all the hateful sound. To be stripped free of this world, all that has been done to me. So use to anger, leery of every stranger. Trying hard to be, and then came you. If I draw back the curtain and reveal this face, I am certain you would hate it and run leaving no trace.

  20. What if the package this soul dwells isn't what you expect, Or my life you cannot except, Would you still feel that pull as God whispers in your ear," I know what I'm doing, have no fear."

  21. In this life there is no room for "what if's", only Faith in the Almighty. I would follow Him into numerous burning buildings, for His love is beyond any forms of beauty.

  22. This place a sanctuary indeed, then if you must still my calm masked crusader. I dare not to intrude, nor be a weary invader. For I came seeking refuge, so I found it in your company. Physical as a ghost it is, But still for all to see.

  25. A specter I am here, But my skin you have already seen, I do not want to be the intruder upon you is what this all means. Of course I could love your soul, perhaps I already do, but to make you run and hide is not what I want from you. My truth is laid out here as bare and raw as the wind in winter. But from your happiness I don't want you to splinter. I tried to pull away, God pulls me back, for the reasoning behind It I lack. I am glad you see me, the real true me.

  26. My heart I do not give away with ease, nor would I ever. Not that there wasn't anyone lighting the sky, for not a soul would go through my pain and endeavor.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I feel for your pain and all your grief. And I hope the Lord gives you relief.

    ReplyDelete
  28. My pain will be lifted, and my body along side. He has given me many amazing gifts, none more so than my pride.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Your pride is something you cannot neglect, Nothing keeps us on the right path more than self respect.

  30. And possibly unconditional love, especially from Him above.

    ReplyDelete
  31. And it is His outstretched hand we take and keep the vows to him we make.

    ReplyDelete
  32. For His truth is truer than the blue sky, or the stars that held brightly, and in your light I can rely.

    ReplyDelete
  33. My light radiates with the pulse of your prose, a silent blossom to enchanting rose.

    ReplyDelete
  34. To be your captain, with Him as the North star, We glide through time to a distance afar.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Away far away from the constant grief, hearing laughter behind each corner. Watching the flame grow day and day again, Strong, burning with a great ember.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Great ember burns to a blaze through unending night, On pure hopes and dreams our wings take flight.

  37. The stars upending our shining greatness, destroying all that evil lusting mess.

  38. Clearing away those barriers, making way for us to be more of His likeness. When worldly wants are knocked away, a blissful peace shall overcome, and never fade, a gentle stay.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Gentle as the Spring breeze, waiting behind the willowed trees. Making itself a big tease, following the dance rhymed floating leaves.

    ReplyDelete
  40. So many breadcrumbs, so much time, to be swept away like wispy fairies prancing through the notes of our synchronized rhyme.
