A stranger seeks close shelter,
Walking by with good intentions,
Looking for a life full of bliss,
But can only find those frozen benches,
The lonely man walks closely by,
Hidden by the trees of yesterday,
Searching for a time to pass,
Going past the days bringing the fray,
The stranger comes to a broken wing,
The bird fighting the wintery cold,
Barely able to hold its own during the day,
But at night it loses its very mold,
The lonely man finds the two shivering from the fright,
The cold and the cold hearted,
He kneels down and speaks just words,
"The warmth will destroy all that won't be parted".
