Rocking Away:

The white covered hills,
Trees hiding at the base,
The sky cleared for a day,
The rock becoming a varied face,

The snow running downhill,
Away from the monstrous rocks,
Their hard fought war,
The trees closing their locks,

The snow trapped beyond compare,
Their lives solely in the hand of trees,
Hiding at the bottom with evergreen,
Never shedding their leaves,

The trade demands deep,
Yet encouraging for the fearful snow,
The snow joining the tempting tree's fight,
Even with it's paceless flow,

As the rock's war became two-sided,
The snow and trees marched their armies,
Fighting until their last breath,
Even when backed up against the seven seas.

  1. And the cold breathe of winter blew a kiss on the range... Beautiful. I hope heaven looks like this, I would walk there everyday.

  2. Heaven is a greater beauty, beyond anything we could ever imagine.
