Swinging Through The Flowers:

As the mist crept in,
A bare tree stood in the center,
The American flag bled with the ground,
Awaiting the sun to enter,

The cool air brushing over,
The petals fighting the urge,
My fingers gliding over the tops,
Holding it's longing purge,

The barren tree holding true,
Protecting against the weighted others,
Shield and sword strong,
Defeating it's own kind brothers,

As I flopped onto the ground.
The flowers brushing over my face,
The mist cooling my skin,
And their love I could taste,

Holding onto the thoughts,
Swinging to the magic colors,
I held true my own,
For I had found my lover.
